- We believe all who repent of their sin and receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God, that at the moment of conversion He makes His dwelling place in the true believer. (Mark 1:15; John 1:12; Ephesians 2:8-9; 2 Corinthians 5:17; John 15:16)
- We believe Baptism in water is by immersion and is a direct commandment of our Lord, and that this ordinance is a symbol of the Christian’s identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection. (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; Colossians 1:12; Acts 8:36-39)
- We believe Baptism in the Holy Spirit and Fire is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus to all believers in this dispensation and is received subsequent to the new birth. (Matthew 3:11)
- We believe the Holy Spirit indwells all true believers, and He has been sent to be the Comforter and Empowerer of the Christian Church to produce the fruit of the Holy Spirit and the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to Scripture. (John 14:16-17, 26; John 16:8; Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22; 1 Corinthians 12:4)
- We believe all Christians are called to a life of Holiness, devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ and service to Him. (Hebrews 12:14; 1 Peter 1:13-16; Romans 12:1-2)
- We believe in the resurrection of both the just and the unjust, eternal life for the redeemed, and eternal punishment for the unbeliever who has rejected the sacrifice of Jesus Christ as Saviour. (2 Thessalonians 1:7-10; Revelation 20:11-15)
- We believe the healing of the sick in the name of Jesus Christ is still active in the Church, and that the miracles as recorded in the Bible were real and are also for today. (Mark 16:16-18; Matthew 8:16-17; 1 Corinthians 12:9-10; James 5:14-15; John 14:12)
- We believe the ascended Christ has given various ministries or ministers to the Church in order to bring all believers to the place of Christian maturity in the understanding of truth and function of the ministry. (Ephesians 4:11-13; Romans 12:4-8; 1 Corinthians 12:8-11)
- We believe in the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper, which involves partaking of the bread and the cup as symbols of the Saviour’s broken body and shed blood, in remembrance of His sacrificial death until His return. ( Luke 22:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
- We believe that Jesus Christ is the Head of His Body, the Church, and that in all things He has pre-eminence.
